A revolutionary concept best exemplified by the middle-of-the-room glass shower stalls, this sleek and impeccably designed hotel is a hit with hipsters looking for a Barcelona experience that combines design, surprise, and originality. It's also perfectly situated to make the most of Barcelona's hot Born-Ribera scene, though the in-house restaurant—called the White Bar for its completely albino decor—will tempt you to stay in at night with its excellent Mediterranean cooking. Pros: Cool destination and location. Cons: Noisy nightlife around the hotel requires closed windows on weekends, rooms and spaces are small.
