This revolutionary new hotel halfway between the Rambla and the MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art) is the mutual brainchild of the Camper footwear empire and Barcelona's nonpareil Vinçon design store. No smoking, no tips, a free 24-hour snack facility to which you can invite your friends, ecologically recycled residual waters, and a different, more at-home hotel concept, add up to a dazzling new address in the formerly seedy Raval. Pros: Pivotal location a minute from Rambla and in the middle of the tumultuous Raval, sleek new concept in service, feels like a private club. Cons: Tight quarters in and around the hotel.
