Book NowColón Review
There's something clubby about this elegant Barcelona standby, surprisingly intimate and charming for such a sizable operation. The location is ideal—directly across the plaza from the cathedral, overlooking weekend sardana dancing, Thursday antiques markets, and, of course, the floodlit cathedral by night. Rooms are comfortable and furnished with traditional pieces, some of them antiques; try to get one with a view of the cathedral. The Colón was a favorite of the artist Joan Miró.

Great location near the cathedral, nice staff and free internet. Sound of the bells was not an issue, and within walking distance of La Rambla and other sights. However, configuration of the bathrooms made the use of some of the facilities uncomfortable
