Museums / Galleries, Born-Ribera
Fodor's Review:
With one of Carrer Montcada's best two courtyards (the other is the Palau Dalmases at No. 20), this peaceful spot has a handy café where you can admire the 14th- to 16th-century loggia, stairway, and windows. The textile museum's displays include every imaginable piece of clothing worn from prehistoric times through the late-19th-century Art Nouveau frenzy of decorative excess. The museum store offers interesting books and artifacts, all related to the textile industry that made medieval Barcelona prosper.
