Convent dels Àngels

Fodor's Review:

This former Augustinian convent directly across from the main entrance to the MACBA, built by Bartolomeu Roig in the middle of the 16th century, has been converted into a general cultural center with an exhibition hall (El Fòrum dels Àngels), a bookstore, a 150-seat auditorium, and a restaurant and bar. The Foment dels Arts Decoratives (FAD) now operates this handsome Raval resource. The Forum dels Àngels is an impressive space with beautifully carved and restored sculptures of angels in the corners and at the top of the walls.
