Turo de Vilana Review

Surrounded by bougainvillea-festooned villas above Barcelona's Passeig de la Bonanova, this tidy place has much to recommend it, including a hot tub in every room and a pleasant staff. The lobby is a paired-down affair of glass and polished wood. This look extends to the rooms, with wood accent walls and simple, contemporary furnishings. In summer, upper Barcelona is noticeably cooler, not to mention quieter at night. The Turo de Vilana is a 10-minute walk from the Sarria train that connects you with the city center in a quarter of an hour.
