Gran Hotel la Florida Review

With nonpareil views over Barcelona, water sculptures everywhere but in your bed, a superb restaurant (L'Orangerie), and designer suites that are difficult to leave behind, it's easy to forgive the 20-minute (and €20) taxi drive from the port to reach this gem. The L-shaped horizon pool is a delight, as are the spas and exercise facilities. Originally opened in 1925, this design hotel has roared back to the forefront of Barcelona's most stylish lodging.
