Cerveseria la Catalana Review

A bright and booming bar with a few tables on the sidewalk, this spot is always packed for a reason: excellent food at fair prices. Try the small solomillos (filet mignons), mini-morsels that will take the edge off your carnivorous appetite without undue damage to your wallet, or the jumbo shrimp brochettes.

Worth doing it again and again.

Our first visit to Barcelona was 2008. Spent two days/nights in the Eixample area and ate three meals here. Enjoyed it so much and found it so relaxing that we will return again in June, 2014 for more good experiences and excellent eats. See you there at Cerveseria la Catalana.

    Best Tapas in Barcelona

This restaurant is continually busy no matter what time of day you go. We went one night at 9 and had an hour wait. A couple of days later, we went at 5 with no wait and it was full of people. The tapas selection is endless with very innovative creations. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The only glitch we had was with our waiter who was not very friendly and helpful. I guess there is always one as other people had excellent service. A great place to eat when you are in the Eixample.
