Modern cuisine at extraordinary value has made a roaring success of this attractive dining spot in upper Barcelona. Just below Via Augusta, 50 yards from the Muntaner train stop, a series of intimate dining rooms and cozy corners are carefully tended by chef Guillermo Casañé and Marta Cabot, his charming (and perfect-English-speaking) partner and maître d'. Look for fresh market produce lovingly prepared and dishes such as tuna tartare or noodles and shrimp.

a very nice spot in an upscale area.
Make a reservation - the place is small and busy.
The food was excellent but the portions were rather small so you really need to have a starter, a main course ,and one of the sublime deserts .
The service was a but slow but maybe it was because they had just opened the place.
The bill was not high for such a nice restaurant.
