Wonderfully peculiar and kitschy 1950s furnishings fill this old-fashioned sala de baile (dance hall) that dates to 1903. The balcony is a great place to view both the dance floor and the frescoed ceiling. A live orchestra plays big-band tango, mambo, bolero, cha-cha, and different genres of ballroom music until 1 or 2 AM on weekends. Later, a DJ takes over until 5 AM. La Paloma is open Thursday-Sunday.
