Ferran Adrià of elBulli fame and his brother, Albert, opened these adjoining tapas and cocktail bars in early 2011 to much international fanfare and curiosity. Tickets offers contemporary tapas, which, coming from the creators of elBulli, means ice-cream cones of salmon eggs, egg yolk, soy sauce, and wasabi, or little plates with names such as Bloody Mary: crusty tomatoes with basil butter, virgin olive oil, caviar, and cheddar cheese cookies. Albert's new creations are lovely, but Ferran's old favorites from the now-closed elBulli are the main draws here. The cocktail bar, 41°, takes mixology and snacks just as seriously, with a €265 "experience" featuring 41 dishes and drinks for 16 lucky diners per night. Reservations for both venues are taken online only (not by phone), up to 60 days in advance. Check the calendar on the website for exact instructions.
