Fermin Puig of the famous Drolma at the Hotel Majestic, created Petit Comité as a more rustic country cousin of his sleek high-end dining room across the street. Traditional Catalan cooking is the theme in this contemporary design space with a square counter in the middle for bar fare. Serving around the clock from midday to midnight (1 pm–1 am) makes reservations essential only at peak hours. Traditional favorites include trinxat (chopped cabbage with potato and bacon) or caneloni amb béchamel de tòfona (canelonni with truffled béchamel) to the traditional dessert of mel i mató (fresh cheese and honey).
