Fodor's Review

Twins Javier and Sergio Torres have leaped to the top of Barcelona's culinary charts as well as to the top of the towering Meliá Barcelona Sky Hotel. It only seems fitting that their restaurant be named Dos Cielos, cielo being Spanish for heaven. A panoramic dining room around a vast open kitchen offers dazzling 360-degree views of the city. The cuisine is no less brilliant: the twins' Catalan roots ground a menu that reaches for the sky–-and often touches it–-in terms of technique and inventiveness, without ever sacrificing a profound respect for the finest local ingredients. Dishes change seasonally, but all reflect the best in modern fine dining guided by a strong sense of personality.
