Chef Xavier Pellicer has consolidated his sound reputation after a brilliant opening in late 1999. In the tradition of Catalonia's finest restaurants, no detail is left to chance here. With carefully selected ingredients and innovative yet traditional recipes, this Catalan cuisine with international and cosmopolitan tendencies is all, in the end, "cuisine d'auteur," original Pellicer from soup to nuts. Try the espardenyes con raviolis de enojo (sea slugs with fresh ravioli stuffed with fennel).
