$, Eixample
Fodor's Review:
Five minutes from Gaudí's Sagrada Família and across the street from Gorría, one of the finest Basque restaurants in town, this little hideaway has a friendly, helpful staff. Walking distance from the Picasso Museum and the Barri de la Ribera, this Eixample address offers, along with economy, a handy vantage point from which to explore the northeastern part of the city. Rooms are a bit low-tech and old-fashioned but, in a traditional way, a rest for the overstimulated eye, and a return to a rapidly vanishing mid-19th-century Barcelona aesthetic.
