$$$-$$$$, Spanish, Tibidabo
Fodor's Review:
Designed by Art Nouveau architect Rubió i Bellver, this immense palace 1,600 feet above the Avenida Tibidabo metro station is a hike but worth remembering if you're in upper Barcelona. The kitchen specializes in cordero lechal (roast lamb); try pimientos de piquillo (hot, spicy peppers) on the side. The dining room has a terra-cotta floor and a full complement of Art Nouveau ornamentation ranging from intricately carved wood trimmings to stained-glass partitions, with acid-engraved glass, and Moorish archways.
