Specializing in country cuisine from Catalonia's northern Garrotxa region, this clean-lined dining room in the entryway to Barcelona's Ateneu, the cultural club or atheneum, is a find. Near the top of the Rambla and overlooking Plaça Vila de Madrid, favorites here include recipes based on duck, goose, rabbit, and lamb.

Salad: without any fantasy, Paella: salt, salt and salt (and not what I ordered). Just a customers insult.RATING: 1.2
Disappointed after reding high rating

The restaurant is convenient tot he Rambla. The waiters are pleasant and helpful. The food is only mediocre, and we were quite disappointed. After looking forward to fine meal, we had an ordinary meal. The prices are moderate.RATING: 2.8
