Fodor's Review:
Surrounded by bougainvillea-festooned villas and mansions above Barcelona's Passeig de la Bonanova, this shiny new penny has a hot tub in every room, immaculate and gleaming halls, and public areas of stone, steel, and glass, run by a pleasant staff. Rooms are polished, bright, and will lighted. In summer, upper Barcelona is noticeably cooler, not to mention quieter at night. The Turó de Vilana is a 10-minute walk from the Sarrià train that connects you with the city center in a quarter of an hour. Pros: new furnishings and latest technology in rooms, bright and cheery service and design, verdant and refreshing surroundings. Con: in upper Sarrià and a long way (30 minutes in all) from the center of town.
