Fodor's Review:
A cheery space in what was once the darkest Raval, Gat Raval's sister location places the adventurous traveler in the middle of what may seem more like a North African souk than a modern textile and design metropolis. Near the intersection of Carrers Carmen and Hospital, the Gat Xino gives you an up-close look at one of Barcelona's most cosmopolitan and traditionally tumultuous neighborhoods. Rooms are decorated in bright colors, and the value is unbeatable. In the bargain, you may discover that the Raval and its raucous street life are inhabited by Barcelona's friendliest citizens. Pros: central location, smart and sassy design, up-to-date technology, hostel-like friendly clients and staff. Cons: busy and noisy section of the Raval, small rooms and public spaces.

Quoted on price charged another. Room tiny and dirty. My feet stuck to the floor.lift didn't work. rough location.
