Seville has two bus stations: Estación del Prado de San Sebastián, serving the west and northwest, and the Estación Plaza de Armas, which serves central and eastern Spain. Cádiz also has two bus stations: Comes, which serves most destinations in Andalusia, and Los Amarillos, which serves Jerez, Seville, Córdoba, Puerto de Santa María, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, and Chipiona. The bus station in Jerez, on Plaza Madre de Dios, is served by two companies: La Valenciana and Los Amarillos. Granada's main bus station is at Carretera de Jaén, 3 km northwest of the center of town beyond the end of Avenida de Madrid. Most buses operate from here, except for buses to nearby destinations such as Fuentevaqueros, Viznar and some buses to Sierra Nevada, which leave from the city center's Plaza del Triunfo near the Renfe station. Luggage lockers (la consigna) cost EUR 2. Alsina Gräells buses run to Las Alpujarras, Córdoba (8 times daily), Seville (10 times daily), Malaga (14 times daily), and Jaén, Baeza, Úbeda, Cazorla, Almeria, Almuñecar and Nerja several times daily.
Seville's urban bus service is efficient and covers the greater city area. Buses C1, C2, C3, and C4 run circular routes linking the main transportation terminals with the city center. The C1 goes east in a clockwise direction, from the Santa Justa train station via Avenida de Carlos V, Avenida de María Luisa, Triana, the Isla de la Cartuja, and Calle de Resolana. The C2 follows the same route in reverse. The C3 runs from the Avenida Menéndez Pelayo to the Puerta de Jerez, Triana, Plaza de Armas, and Calle de Recaredo. The C4 does the same route counterclockwise. Buses do not run within the Barrio de Santa Cruz because the streets are too narrow, though convenient access points around the periphery of this popular tourist area are amply served.
Seville's city buses operate limited night service between midnight and 2 AM, with no service between 2 and 4 AM. Single rides cost EUR 1.10, but it is more economical to buy a ticket for 10 rides, which costs EUR 5.70, for use on any bus. Special tourist passes (Tarjeta Turística) valid for one or three days of unlimited bus travel cost (respectively) EUR 3.25 and EUR 7.50. Tickets are on sale at newspaper kiosks and at the main bus station, Prado de San Sebastián.
Granada and Córdoba have extensive public bus networks. The average waiting time usually does not exceed 15 minutes. Normally, buses in both cities start running around 6:30 to 7 AM and stop around 11 PM in Granada and midnight in Córdoba. However, schedules can be slightly reduced for some lines. In Granada, you can buy 6- and 21-trip discount passes on the buses and 10-trip passes at newsstands. In Córdoba, newsstands and the bus office at Plaza de Colón sell 10-trip discount tickets. The single-trip fares are EUR 1 in Granada and Córdoba. Rober and Aucorsa manage the bus networks in Granada and Córdoba, respectively.
