Fodor's Review

This lovely palace has three ornate patios, including a spectacular courtyard graced by a Roman mosaic taken from the ruins in Itálica, surrounded by Moorish arches and fine azulejos (painted tiles). The side rooms house a collection of archaeological items. The second floor contains the family apartments and visits are by guided tour only. It's well worth paying the extra for the second-floor tour, which gives an interesting insight into the collections and the family.
