It's worth the short drive 5 km (3 mi) out of town to this restaurant, which serves some of the region's best food. Menu items are innovative twists on Spanish recipes using seasonal ingredients—the restaurant grows many of its own vegetables. Innovative options include librito de mango y esturión sobre espejo de picual con huevos de trucha asalmonada (a layered stack of mango and sturgeon, topped with salmon trout eggs) and solomillo de jabalí con frutos de otoño y salsa de vinagre (wild boar with autumn fruits in a vinegar-and-honey sauce). Dessert might be natillas ligeras de caramelo con bizcocho de nueces y miel y helado de chirimoya (light caramel custard with a nut and honey biscuit and custard apple ice cream).
