Deep in the heart of Cazorla Nature Park, in what was once a game warden's house, is a small hotel that's the perfect base for exploring the wilderness. Guest rooms are in the back, beyond the central courtyard, and most have unhindered views of the forest-clad mountainside (a few look onto the patio). Wild boar, venison, partridge, and game of all kinds appear on the restaurant ($-$$) menu. Pros: Unique sylvan retreat, highland cooking, pool with a view. Cons: No Internet terminal, agoraphobics beware.
