In the historic center of Guadix is this little family-run hotel. Rooms in the 1905 building have dark-wood classic furniture, modern bathrooms, and, except for the few that are carpeted, marble floors. The public areas include an art gallery, a jazz concert room, and the best restaurant ($-$$$) in town, with such local specialties as roast lamb with raisins and pine nuts. Pros: In the middle of the Guadix action, fine dining. Cons: Many rooms look out on nearby walls, erratic service.
