Owner José Antonio Valdespino spent years researching the classic recipes once served in aristocratic Jerez homes, and now his son, José, presents them in this small, friendly restaurant off Avenida Alcalde Alvaro Domecq, around the corner from the Hotel Avenida Jerez. Don't be put off by the bland exterior—within, the eight tables are surrounded by watercolors and shelves are lined with cookbooks; the round table at the end of the room gave the restaurant its name. Ask the chef's mother, Margarita—who has an encyclopedic knowledge of Spanish wines—what to order.
