Barceló Montecastillo Hotel and Golf Resort

Fodor's Review:

Outside Jerez near the racetrack, the sprawling, modern Montecastillo adjoins a golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus—ask for a room with a terrace overlooking the course. The common areas are spacious and have marble floors. Rooms are cheerfully decorated, with bright floral bedspreads and rustic clay tiles. Pros: Palatial building and grounds, sports and health retreat. Cons: Sprawling complex, almost too Elysian to relax.
