Hospital de los Venerables

Hospital de los Venerables Review

Once a retirement home for priests, this baroque building now has a cultural foundation that organizes on-site art exhibitions. The tour takes in a splendid azulejo patio with an interesting sunken fountain (designed to cope with low water pressure) and upstairs gallery, but the highlight is the chapel, featuring frescoes by Valdés Leal and sculptures by Pedro Roldán.
