Hospital de los Venerables

Fodor's Review:

Once a retirement home for priests, this baroque building now has a cultural foundation that organizes on-site art exhibitions. The required 20-minute guided tour takes in a splendid azulejo patio with an interesting sunken fountain (designed to cope with low water pressure) and upstairs gallery, but the hospital's highlight is its chapel, featuring frescoes by Juan Valdés Leal.
