Fodor's Review:

The capital of the region is Aracena, whose main attraction is the spectacular cave known as the Gruta de las Maravillas (Cave of Marvels). Its 12 caverns contain long corridors, stalactites and stalagmites arranged in wonderful patterns, as well as stunning underground lagoons.

  • Open: Guided tours, if sufficient numbers, weekdays hourly 10:30-3 and 4-6; weekends hourly 10:30-1:30 and 3-6
