Fundación Rodríguez-Acosta/Instituto Gómez Moreno

Fodor's Review:

A few yards from the impressive Alhambra Hotel, this nonprofit organization was founded at the bequeath of the painter José Marí Rodríguez-Acosta. Inside a typical Granadino carmen (private villa), it houses works of art, archaeological findings, and a library collected by the Granada-born scholar Manuel Gómez-Moreno Martínez. Other exhibits include valuable and unique objects from Asian cultures and the prehistoric and classical eras.

  • Cost: EUR 4
  • Open: Wed.-Sun. 10-2; last entrance 30 min before closing
