Carmen Verde Luna

Carmen Verde Luna Review

This intriguingly named restaurant, Carmen (Arabic for "summer cottage") Green Moon, a reference to Federico García Lorca's famous poem "Romance Somnámbulo" (Sleepwalking Ballad), has a terrace with views across to the Alhambra and Sierra Nevada. Run by a dynamic young team, the menu changes regularly according to what's fresh in the market. Regional dishes might include toasted and stuffed eggplant with pâté, stuffed sea bass and vegetables, hake with prawns, and, for vegetarians, an unusual and delicious vegetable mousse based on fresh artichokes (when in season).
