Hotel Carmen Review

This hotel has a prized city-center location on a busy shopping street and rooms that are spacious and have a mix of modern and classic style—standard ones are carpeted, and superior ones have glossy parquet floors. The rooftop terrace and pool (open summer only) have stunning views of the city. For entertainment there's an English-style pub with live music nightly and good cocktails.

    Hotel Carmen terrace worth the stay!

    I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Carmen in Granada, Spain in June of this year. I was traveling with my daughter's soccer team and other parents. The rooms were very well appointed by American Western standards but the best feature, by far, is the lovely breathtaking views, outdoor bar, eatery and pool on the Hotel Carmen's terrace! After a day of soccer and sight seeing this hotel's terrace was a relaxing respite! The hotel staff were accommodating however we had no major issues to resolve. The morning breakfast buffet was wonderfully diverse and had something for everyone, even picky teens! The location is ideal with a grocery store right across the street (which was nice to have so close) and the hotel is centrally located for walking and exploring the wonderful city of Granada. If and when we return to this lovely Spanish city we will for sure stay at the Hotel Carmen!
