Convento de Santa Paula

Convento de Santa Paula Review

This 15th-century Gothic convent has a fine facade and portico, with ceramic decoration by Nicolaso Pisano. The chapel has some beautiful azulejos and sculptures by Martínez Montañés. It also contains a small museum and a shop selling delicious cakes and jams made by the nuns.

Great little convent. Very nice, funny nuns. Most do not speak english, but that is not a problem.
We wanted to mention that you might have to ring the doorbell and ask for museo. (We visited in off season at 10am, which might have been the reason) We saw other travelers walk away thinking it was closed.
