Fodor's Review:

With yellow-and-white paintwork, wrought-iron balconies, and wooden shutters, El Ancla's architecture is classic Jerez. The hotel doubles as a popular bar, which is good for atmosphere but means it can be noisy at night. Rooms are plainly furnished but comfortable. The underground parking lot across the street is a bonus. Pros: Attractive traditional architecture, budget friendly. Cons: Noisy nocturnal activities, rooms small and drab.
