This tiny restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner for two, in part because of the lack of space but also because of the atmosphere—it's warm and cozy, with Oriental carpets and ornate drapes and cushions. All the Moroccan favorites are here, including tabbouleh, falafel, and couscous, which makes it especially apt for vegetarians. The tagines (earthenware vessels with conical tops used for stewing meat and vegetables in Morocco) for two are excellent and will easily feed four, but beware: no wine is served here, in accordance with Islamic religious law. If you ask nicely, the management will allow you to bring in your own wine—try this phrase: ¿Por favor, podemos traer una botella de vino para acompañar nuestra comida? (May we please bring in a bottle of wine to accompany our meal?)
