Fodor's Review:

A few blocks west of the ayuntamiento, the 16th-century Convento de San Francisco is one of Vandelvira's architectural religious masterpieces. You can see its restored remains—the building was spoiled by the French army and partially destroyed by a light earthquake in the early 1800s.
