El Corral del Agua

El Corral del Agua Review

Abutting the outer walls of the Alcázar on a narrow pedestrian street in the Santa Cruz neighborhood, this restored 18th-century palace has a patio filled with geraniums and a central fountain. Andalusian specialties, such as cola de toro al estilo de Sevilla (Seville-style bull's tail), caldereta (lamb stew), and fresh salads are prepared with contemporary flair. Round off your meal with one of the Arab-inspired desserts before strolling around the corner to one of the prettiest squares in Santa Cruz: Plaza Doña Elvira, flanked by orange trees behind traditionally tiled seating.
