Alcázar de Arriba

Fodor's Review:

The Moorish Alcázar de Arriba (Upper Fortress) was built on Roman foundations and later converted by King Pedro the Cruel into a fine Mudejar palace. Pedro's summer residence was destroyed by a 1504 earthquake, but the parador amid its ruins has a breathtaking view.
