Hotel Alfonso XIII

Hotel Alfonso XIII Review

Seville's most emblematic hotel, this grand, Mudejar-style building next to the university was built and named for the king when he visited for the 1929 World's fair. It's closed for renovations through the middle of 2012; when it's open, nonguests are welcome to admire the gracious Moorish-style courtyard, best appreciated while sipping an ice-cold fino (dry sherry) from the adjacent bar.
