Fodor's Review:

Sevillanos have spent many a thrilling Sunday afternoon in this bullring, built between 1760 and 1763. Painted a deep ocher, the stadium is the one of the oldest and loveliest plazas de toros in Spain. The 20-minute tour takes in the empty arena, a museum with elaborate costumes and prints, and the chapel where matadors pray before the fight.

  • Cost: Plaza and bullfighting museum EUR 6 with English-speaking guide
  • Open: May-Oct., daily 9:30-8; Nov.-Apr., daily 9:30-7 (bullfighting days 9:30-3)
