From early March to late October the Prince of Venice high-speed catamaran makes regularly scheduled trips between Venice and Izola, with connecting bus service to Piran and Potoroz. Kompas Travel in Potoroz can make the booking. The trip takes 2 1/2 hours.
Venezia Lines offers similar runs between Venice and Piran in season, and offers overnight hotel packages in Venice. Maona Travel in Piran can arrange this.
