The Ljubljana Airport is at Brnik, 25 km (16 mi) north of the city. The Maribor airport is at Slivnica, 9 km (6 mi) to the south.

Transfers

Public bus service runs regularly between the airport and Ljubljana's main bus station in the city center. Buses depart from the airport every hour on the hour weekdays and slightly less frequently on weekends. Tickets cost around EUR 4. A private airport shuttle makes the same run in slightly less time. Departures average every 90 minutes or so and the cost is EUR 20. A taxi costs approximately EUR 30. The ride takes about 30 minutes.
