By Air

There are no direct flights between the United States and Slovenia. The Slovenian national carrier, Adria Airways, flies from many Western European cities to Ljubljana Airport. Adria also has flights to the capitals of other ex-Yugoslav republics from Ljubljana. Adria is a regional carrier of the Star Alliance, linking it with the extensive networks of Austrian Airways, United Airlines, Lufthansa, Air Canada, and LOT, among others. In Slovenia, tickets can be purchased by phone and delivered anywhere in the country in 24 hours.

Aeroflot, Air France, Austrian Airways, Finnair, Hungary's Malev, Serbia's JAT, Turkish Airlines, Ukraine Airlines, Czech Airlines, and Poland's LOT all now offer regular connections to Ljubljana from their respective capital cities. Low-cost airlines have added flights from London's Stansted airport (easyJet, flying to Ljubljana, and Ryanair, flying to Maribor) and Brussels (Wizz Air).
