SNG Opera in Balet (Slovenian National Opera and Ballet Theater) Review
This neo-Renaissance palace, with an ornate facade topped by an allegorical sculpture group, was erected in 1892. When visiting ballet and opera companies come to Ljubljana, they perform here. At this writing, the opera house was closed for a major renovation and was not expected to reopen until mid-2008.
