Fodor's Review:

A series of renovations since 1997 have transformed a nondescript modern building into the country's leading hotel. The Lev makes up for its location—about a 10-minute walk from the city center—with stunning views of Tivoli Park and the Julian Alps outside of Ljubljana. Parking is free, and you'll find easy access to all major highways; soundproof windows keep traffic from spoiling the comfort. Rooms are decorated in soothing pastel tones. Check the Web site for occasional summer discounts.
