Literary fans should be sure to visit Casa del Papa and its three floors of exotic food, drinks, and entertainment in tribute to Ernest Hemingway. The individual rooms evoke the atmosphere of Hemingway's famous haunts: Cuba, Key West, and Paris. But Hemingway also has a connection to Ljubliana; he was hospitalized near here while fighting in World War I and his wartime experiences in Slovenia's Soca Valley are recalled in A Farewell to Arms.
