About the Hotels

Slovakia's larger cities have their shares of chain hotels—Hilton, Accor, Kempinski, Raddison, Mamaison, Sheraton—especially Bratislava. Prices are lower than in Western cities but services and facilities suffer. Outside of the major cities, lodging becomes much more interesting as castles, mansions, and other historic structures have been renovated into hotels and are open for business in their new incarnation.
