Fodor's Review

The road between Gairloch and the Corrieshalloch Gorge initially heads north and passes coastal scenery with views of Gruinard Bay and its white beaches, then woodlands around Dundonnell and Loch Broom. Soon the route traverses wild country: the toothed ramparts of the mountain An Teallach (pronounced tyel-lack) are visible on the horizon. The moorland route you travel is known chillingly as Destitution Road. At Corrieshalloch the road, A832, joins the A835 for Inverness.
