Eddrachilles Hotel Review

This longtime favorite has one of the best views of any lodging in Scotland—towards the tiny islands of Badcall Bay. (If you're entranced, you can explore them by boat.) The hotel sits on 320 acres of private moorland and is just south of the Handa Island bird sanctuary. The bedrooms are modern and comfortable, with chandeliers hanging above and photographs on the walls. In the restaurant, the chef uses local produce to prepare meals in straightforward Scottish style, with the emphasis on fish and game; try the poached salmon or the saddle of venison.
