The Spoons Review
After years of running a luxury estate for others, Marie and Ian Lewis put their considerable talents to work at The Spoons. Ian built the house, set on a working farm. Marie designed and decorated each room, selecting restored antiques and other furnishings. Look for elegant touches like brass or ceramic lighting fixtures, original artwork, and locally made tweed doorstops. The comfortable beds are heaven after a day of exploring. Marie offers tea and baked goods when you arrive. The breakfast is superb, with fresh fruit, homemade crepes, and eggs from the property.
