A 19th-century croft house that once housed the local post office, this pretty Glendale hotel feels like a home away from home. The bedrooms have clean lines and bespoke oak furniture, and the lounge full of books and games feels especially homey, particularly when afternoon tea arrives. In the morning, breakfast options range from fruit, yogurt, and porridge to a full Scottish breakfast. There is a two-night minimum stay during the summer season.
